Canterbury Handball teams are open to all. We cater for both men and women, although our trainings are currently more suited to ages 16 + for males and 14+ for females (For options for younger players Click Here). Club training times are outlined below.
Our indoor handball season usually runs between March and October. During the summer (November to February) we play beach handball so we can get our handball fix 12 months of the year! For more information check out our Beach Handball page.

Quakes Handball Club - Men
The Canterbury Quakes Men’s team welcome everyone of all experience levels, although senior handball is probably better suited to ages 16+.
Training Details: The Quakes men train weekly at the Ara Instutute on Tuesdays 7:30pm-9pm.
In 2024 training will start start on Tuesday March 12

The Canterbury Quakes Women’s team welcome everyone of all experience levels.
Training Details: The Quakes women train weekly at the Ara Instutute on Mondays from 7:00pm-8.30pm.
In 2024 trainings will start on Monday March 11.
